Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.

Starting on September 12th, 2023, we will study the books of Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel and Ephesians.

Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions.

Each week you will participate in a small group discussion and teaching of each lesson.

We offer a caring, supportive community in which to study the Word of God and grow spiritually.

Our CBS class has groups for women, men, singles, coed, and young adults.

We meet in Orchard Lake in addition to an on-line only option.

The Small Group Discussion time for the Orchard Lake location will be from 7:20 - 9:00 pm every Tuesday evening starting on September 12th.

A coed core ONLINE ONLY option will meet on Tuesday. starting September 12 at 7:30 pm

Ruth /1st & 2nd Samuel: 18 Weeks

The Old Testament books of Ruth and 1 and 2 Samuel describe the faith journeys of men and women like us. Sure, they may have been prophets or priests, or kings—but they were also sons and daughters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers. They struggled in the same ways we do. They experienced deferred hopes and dreams, broken relationships, shameful failures and personal trauma, just as we do. It’s what they did with those disappointments that matters. In this study, you will see people who took their pain and anger to God—and those who did not. And in either case, you will see how God remained faithful.

Ephesians: 12 Weeks . Before the foundations of the world, God had His people in mind. In love, He chose, forgave, and redeemed them. He adopted them to be His very own beloved children. Ephesians tells the story of God’s eternal plan to unite people who had been estranged from Him and one another into a beautiful community that reflects His glory to the world and even to the spiritual realms. This study will guide participants to engage with what it means to be reconciled to God, how that is possible, and the amazing benefits God gives as a result. It will also give practical guidance for how to apply these eternal truths to your everyday life.

Young Adult

The YoungAdult Community Bible Study is for the community-everyone: Those with extensive knowledge of the Bible and those who have never opened it .Our core group consists of young men and women from 18-35. Our approach is to study scripture with an open mind, and to build community along the way.

Everyone's perspective and comments are welcome and help us learn and grow on our spiritual journey.

In addition to meeting weekly to study the bible, we also meet periodically outside of class for social events and serving in the local community.

All the things we do together in the YA Community Bible Study have a cumulative effect over time. That is to build close personal relationships that are authentic. So come out and experience this adventure for yourself.
